Yotel Edinburgh
Scotland's first YOTEL, in the heart of Edinburgh, offers inclusive and playful 'cabin'-style rooms with bathrooms that showcase Roca's innovative Surfex® material.
Roca worked closely with YOTEL during the design phase to create a bathroom solution tht perfectly matched the brand’s standards. This included the The Gap wall‐hung WC, a bespoke vanity unit, and bespoke vanity countertops in the public areas, all made from Roca’s exclusive Surfex® material. At YOTEL Edinburgh, Surfex® was used to create a washbasin with an integrated unit, maximizing counter space and providing ample storage space for toiletries and grooming products.

The 2024 renovation combines modernity with timeless elegance, enhancing the guest experience. To create a striking visual impact, Roca's Ona high-neck basin faucet in titanium black is paired with Ohtake and Horizon basins. Matt black Rainsense showers and Stella hand showers provide a refined sense of comfort, while Inspira toilets with rimless technology ensure a sustainable, sophisticated and minimalist bathroom design.
The interior of this high-end resort features a minimalist aesthetic with earthy tones, premium materials and soft lighting to create a relaxing spa atmosphere. The bathrooms feature a long, floating marble countertop with a sleek, integrated basin, complemented by the contemporary and sleek Cala faucet in a matt black finish, creating a striking contrast to the lighter tones of the marble and walls.
The design of this 13-room boutique hotel is inspired by the horizontal stacking of cava bottles and Antoni Gaudí’s trencadís technique. The sinuous lines, large circular windows and geometric patterns combined with the use of natural materials, create a balanced look in perfect harmony with the surroundings. The modern open-plan bathrooms feature graphite-coloured Bol basins, evocative Thesis basin mixers, and sculptural Happening toilets. The strong focus on sustainability, from the building’s thoughtful design approach to sustainable best practices, is also reflected in Roca’s products, which contribute to energy efficiency and durability.

One of the first environmentally conscious hotels, Rafayel on the Left Bank uses advanced LED lighting, efficient air conditioning and rainwater harvesting to reduce its carbon footprint. The bathrooms are fitted with Roca's Element and Diverta collections, which offer efficient water management and a modern design. They are characterized by the possibility of adapting to individual projects, high repeatability and quick and easy assembly. In addition, their competitive price makes them an attractive alternative to traditionally built bathrooms on site. Roca brand products were also used in the modular bathrooms.

Every detail of Yposkafon Villa, from the traditional cave house concept to the luxurious bathroom fittings, is designed to delight and inspire, making the villa a destination in itself. The villa features some of Roca's elegantly simple bathroom products to perfectly complement its minimalist design. White plastered surfaces highlight Roca’s Debba Round WC and Inspira’s round basin paired with the sleek L20 faucet. The basin's smooth, rounded contours of the basin and toilet and the faucet's contemporary chrome finish create a harmonious, visually pleasing environment that promote calm and relaxation.

The interior design by Tremend Studio features a cohesive design characterised by the use of warm, natural tones and wood elements that create a welcoming and serene atmosphere. The guest bathrooms feature walk-in showers with glass enclosure creating a spacious and open feel or cosy drop-in bathtubs. A wood-accented vanity with a Diverta countertop basin and The Gap wall-hung Rimless toilet maintain the luxurious yet homely ambiance. The public restrooms continue the theme of modern minimalism with its clean and uncluttered layout, featuring Diverta basins and Hall urinals.
